Excellus BlueCross BlueShield is seeking to promote health, physical fitness and teamwork through a $5,000 donation to the Lifetime Assistance recreation program.

“We’re proud to help Lifetime recreation program participants and special olympians pursue their dreams,” said Holly Snow, director of community health engagement, Excellus BCBS. “This program can transform individuals’ lives as they learn critical life skills, such as the value of discipline, hard work and leadership.”

The Lifetime recreation program is able to provide services, such as financial support for activities, sports education and Special Olympics training with the support of Excellus BCBS.

“The Recreation Program at Lifetime Assistance provides an essential community service; fostering independence, inclusion and dignity for our friends and neighbors with developmental disabilities,” said Lifetime Assistance President James Branciforte. “We extend a tremendous thank you to Excellus BCBS for their support and dedication to the community.”
