The Association of Rochester Police, area law enforcement and the Rochester Police Locust Club recently hosted a luncheon at the Ridgemont Country Club in honor of law enforcement officers who have passed away.
Families, friends and officers gathered to recognize and celebrate lost loved ones.
A photo slide show of the late officers was presented following remarks by ARPALER President Joseph Cimino and Locust Club President Michael Mazzeo.
Balloons were distributed for families to write messages on and were released into the sky to “Amazing Grace” on bagpipes.
“This luncheon is held to commemorate all the years of service and contributions that these men and woman made for their community and to also demonstrate our appreciation for the many sacrifices made by their families,” said Cimino.
