The Greece Performing Arts Society will present “Music for the Holiday Season” at 3 p.m. Dec. 4 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave., Rochester.
This concert will showcase Greece Symphony Orchestra, directed by David Fetler; Greece Choral Society, directed by Rollo Fisher; and Silvertones Flute Ensemble, directed by Linda Badami. Violinist Yunjung Lee will be the featured soloist in Jules Massenet’s Meditation from Thais.
The program includes a wide variety of holiday favorites, including “Sleigh Ride,” “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!,” “Adeste Fideles,” “Joy to the World” and “Song of the Bells.”
GCS and GSO will combine forces for Handel’s Hallelujah chorus as an annual tradition.
