Greece Public Library, 2 Vince Tofany Blvd., Rochester will host the following programs.
Stories and More: 9:30 to 10 a.m. Dec. 27. For all ages with an adult. The class is designed to support early literacy skills in children and encourage them to love books at an early age. The program will feature puppets, music, fingerplays, flannel board stories and rhymes.
Reading, Rhythm and Rhyme: 10:30 to 11 a.m. Dec. 27. For ages 18 months-3 years with an adult. The program will feature stories, rhymes, songs and rhythm instruments.
Drop-in Winter Crafts: 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Dec. 27. Participants will use a variety of art materials to make winter-themed crafts. Materials are available on a first come, first served basis. T-shirts or art smocks are suggested.
Pokemon After Dark: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 28. For all ages. Pokemon enthusiasts will mix and mingle and discuss tactics and strategies. Food and lures will drop every 30 minutes. The library is a PokeStop and there is a gym on the campus.
Ozobots for Kids: 11 a.m. to noon Dec. 29. For ages 8 and older. Ozobots are tiny robots that can be programmed and reprogrammed to solve a puzzle, follow a maze or run a race. Registration is required.
Dungeons and Dragons: 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 29. For ages 15 and older. Participants will tell a story together, guide their heroes through quests for treasure, battle deadly foes, make daring rescues and experience courtly intrigue. Snacks will be provided. Registration is required.
Minecraft Thursdays: 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 29. For kids and teens. The library will have laptops set up to its Minecraft server, or bring personal laptop and account information.
Babies Love Books: 9:30 to 10 a.m. Dec. 30. For ages 15 months and younger and a caregiver. The early literacy class supports early literacy and language skills in infants by encouraging singing, playing, talking and shared reading.
