The Greece Arcadia High School girls bowling team recently took first place against Webster Thomas 8-0, which now gives the Lady Titans full control of first place in Division 3.
The Titans won the first game by 102 pins and needed a strike by Kayla Kawyn on her final shot to win the second game by one pin. Trailing by 50 pins going into the final frame of the third game, Nicole Weed, Lizzy Anderson and Sydney Kraft threw three strikes in a row to seal the game with a comeback win by 45 pins.
Arcadia was led by Kawyn with a 247 game and 635 series, Anderson with a 203 game, Tidwell with a 204 game, Kraft with a 210 game and 576 series and Weed with a 217 game and 550 series.
The boys varsity team was defeated 8-0. Arcadia was led by Tyler Snedden with a 200 game and Kevin Kraeger with a 202 game and 579 series.
