The Greece Arcadia High School varsity bowling teams recently competed in the Upstate Team Challenge at AMF Gates Lanes, where 40 different teams participated.
Arcadia varsity girls finished third overall with a team score of 3,628. The Lady Titans finished a strong morning session in second place, but faltered in the afternoon baker format and slipped to third. Lizzy Anderson had two 200 games, Sydney Kraft had a 214 game, Hailey Tidwell had a 215 game and 627 series and Kayla Kawyn had a 227 game and fifth overall high series of 635.
Varsity boys had one of its best outings of the year, with an opening game of 924 and a 3,523 overall series. Arcadia was led by Nick DelVecchio, who had a personal best game of 206 and 568 series; William Neerbasch with a 192 game; Tyler Snedden with a 190 game; and Kevin Kraeger with games of 210 and 200 and a 597 series.
