Greece Rotary Club will host its 40th annual Italian Festa Ziti Dinner from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at Diplomat Banquet Center, 1956 Lyell Ave., Rochester.
The club’s major fundraiser serves over 2,000 dinners, netting $40,000 each year to help support community projects such as Greece Challenger Little League, high school scholarships, Camp Haccamo and dictionaries for local third-graders.
The first dinner was held at the Mother of Sorrows Church in Greece. After 19 years the dinner was moved to the Diplomat. Over 80 Rotarians and Interact Club students from Greece High School will cook, serve, greet visitors and wait tables at the event.
Dinner includes pasta, meatballs, salad, rolls and ice cream. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $4 for ages 5 and younger. Takeouts are available for an additional $1.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or from any Rotarian.
