Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, recently held the Tails of Hope Telethon, at which the organization raised a record amount of $339,472 to support the its mission to help pets in need.
“We are thankful for the support our community provides to help homeless and abused animals,” said Alice Calabrese, president and CEO of Lollypop Farm. “These funds are vital in providing veterinary treatment, food, shelter and care for thousands of pets. We especially want to thank our friends at Eastview Mall, 13WHAM, Fickle 93.3, Warm 101.3, The Zone @ 94.1, Delta Sonic, Fromm Family Pet Food, and Petsaver Healthy Pet Superstore for their support.”
The Tails of Hope Telethon featured video vignettes looking back on past adoptions, live interviews with experts and supporters and meet-and-greets with some of Lollypop Farm’s adoptable pets.
