Monroe County Legislature President Anthony Daniele recently highlighted recent updates on the Legislature’s website that will ease the access of information for residents in honor of Sunshine Week.
“I am thrilled to announce that meeting materials and information are easier to access on the Legislature’s homepage,” Daniele said. “Ensuring the access of information to residents on the Legislature is critical to open and transparent government.”
The Legislature’s homepage received a restructuring of how information is shared and made available. Information such as referrals, resolutions, local laws, minutes and journals are available on the website in a reorganized way. Residents now have access to the Legislature’s YouTube page to view recorded meetings.
The website now provides access to the public portal for NovusAgenda, the new paperless initiative voted on unanimously by the Legislature last year. All meeting materials for committee and full Legislature meetings are available at bit.ly/2nNEpP6.
