Classic rock station 96.5 WCMF will bring back Roc City Rib Fest from 4 to 10 p.m. May 26, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 27-28 and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 29 at Barnard Fireman’s Field, 360 Maiden Lane, Rochester.
The event will feature barbecue favorites from across the country and Rochester. Attendees will enjoy live music, a retail and craft vendor area and an interactive kids zone. Proceeds will benefit local first responders from Barnard Fire Department.
“If there are three things ‘The Break Room’ can get behind, it’s meat, music and the West Side,” said Pat Duffy, co-host of “The Break Room” morning show. “The last thing we wanted to see was Roc City Rib Fest go away. WCMF is proud to be the one to bring back the Roc City Rib Fest and carry on this Rochester tradition. It’s hard to find an event where you can take your kids and have a blast as an adult at the same time, but that’s exactly what the Rib Fest does.”
