Out of Pocket Inc. will perform “Incorruptible,” written by Michael Hollinger and directed by Sandi Henschel, at 7:30 p.m. May 26-27 and June 1-3 and 2 p.m. June 3 at Multi-use Community Cultural Center, 142 Atlantic Ave., Rochester.
The play takes place during the Dark Ages circa 1250 in Priseaux, France. Ste. Foy, the patron saint of the local monastery, hasn’t worked a miracle in 13 years. All eyes are turned to the pope, whose promised visit will help restore the abbey to its former glory. Then, a rival church claims to possess the relics of Ste. Foy, and their bones are working miracles. All seems lost until the monks take a lesson from a larcenous minstrel, who teaches them a new way to pay old debts.
The cast includes Frederick Nuernberg, Brad Craddock, Gerald Gustav Owen, Jeffrey Siuda, Wayne Alan Dunbar, Linda Loy, Nancy K. Fancher and Suzanne Bell.
Advance tickets cost $18 general admission and $13 for seniors and students. Tickets at the door cost $20 general admission and $15 for students and seniors. Monetary and nonperishable food donations will benefit Brockport Ecumenical Food Shelf.
