“Hope Girl” by Wendy Dunham, of Brockport, recently won a Selah Award for best middle grade novel from Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers Conference.
Published by Harvest House Publishers, “Hope Girl” is the sequel to “My Name Is River,” a 2016 Selah Award finalist. Both novels for ages 8-13 share themes of friendship, faith, bullying, acceptance, disabilities, death, family changes, adoption, abandonment and hope.
Dunham will release a series of four early readers through Harvest House in spring 2018.
