Rochester soldiers receive National Guard promotions
Jason Petroske and Dylan Vanorden, of Rochester, were recently promoted to the rank of specialist in the New York Army National Guard.
Both are assigned to the Headquarters and Service Company, 642nd Battalion.
Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability and development potential.
Gates resident joins Clark Patterson Lee
Michelle Lenhart, of Gates, recently joined Clark Patterson Lee as an accounting specialist.
She will work with accounts payable and cash receipts. She brings to the position more than 12 years of experience in bookkeeping and nearly four years of experience in accounting, with expertise in accounts payable and receivable and payroll.
She earned her associate degree from Kaplan University.
ESL Federal Credit Union promotes Gates resident
ESL Federal Credit Union recently named Adrienne Collier, of Gates, as diversity and inclusion program manager.
She will be responsible for developing and implementing diversity strategies that attract, retain and promote a talented, diverse workforce within the credit union. She joined the company with more than 20 years of experience in the human resources industry, including positions at The College at Brockport, Walt Disney World Co. and SUNY Geneseo.
Collier holds a master’s degree in business administration from University of Central Florida and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Daemen College.
Gates resident to intern at EFPR Group
Alex Intihar, of Gates, recently received an internship with EFPR Group in its attest department in Rochester.
Intihar is currently attending Niagara University to finish his Master of Business Administration, and is slated to graduate in the fall.
The Lockport native holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Brockport resident joins HCR Care Management
Gabrielle McGinnity, of Brockport, recently joined HCR Care Management LLC.
McGinnity will work in outreach and engagement.
HCR Care Management provides care management services to help Medicaid-eligible patients overcome barriers keeping them from receiving health care and connect them to needed services.
SWBR promotes Chili resident
Pauline Vieira, of Chili, was recently promoted to administrative department manager at SWBR.
Vieira joined SWBR in 2015. She brings almost 20 years of experience to her role as administrative manager, including service with the U.S. Navy.
She will guide and supervise the administrative staff, ensuring all functions conform to the firm’s goals, policies and procedures. Vieira will support the president, directors and shareholders while supervising contract management.
Ronald McDonald House Charities hires, promotes local residents
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester recently hired Lisa Boyer, of Gates, as Westmoreland house manager and promoted Danielle Howard, of North Chili, to director of programs and facilities.
Boyer will be responsible for creating a home for the families who use Ronald McDonald House on Westmoreland Drive. She will ensure proper interior and exterior maintenance, coordinate the volunteer hospital shuttle service, prep rooms and guarantee a clean house. Boyer will work in conjunction with social workers and families for an easy intake and checkout process.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in American history from The College at Brockport.
Howard will oversee family services at the Westmoreland House and the House within the Hospital in Golisano Children’s Hospital. She will be responsible for implementing and managing new programs and directing maintenance and renovation projects.
Howard earned her Bachelor of Arts in communications and journalism from St. John Fisher College.
