Victor sonographer receives Service Excellence Award
Nicole Topoliuk, of Victor, recently received a Service Excellence Award for the second quarter from the Service Excellence Team at UR Medicine’s Thompson Health.
Topoliuk is a sonographer in the ultrasound department.
The award acknowledges Thompson associates who deliver exceptional service. They are selected each quarter by SET, which reviews system leaders’ submissions of compliments from patients, families and coworkers.
Victor airman graduates from basic training
U.S. Air Force Airman Chad Parker, of Victor, recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.
Parker completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an Associate in Applied Science degree through Community College of the Air Force.
Parker is the son of Michael Parker, of Farmington, and Martha Parker, of Victor. He graduated from Victor Senior High School in 2016.
