Michael Portillo will visit Kodak, High Falls and George Eastman Museum during his Rochester segment on “Great American Railroad Journeys: Schenectady to Niagara Falls” at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 7 on WXXI-TV.
“Backstage Pass with the Gateways Music Festival” will air an open rehearsal with the entire orchestra, guest artists and a live audience at 1 p.m. Aug. 11 on Classical 91.5.
“Intelligence Squared U.S.” will discuss if tech companies should be required to help law enforcement execute search warrants to access customer data during “Your Private Data: Can Tech Companies Keep it from the Law?” at 9 p.m. Aug. 20 on AM 1370.
“Nova: Eclipse Over America” will capture the total solar eclipse over the U.S. at 9 p.m. Aug. 21 on WXXI-TV.
