Manage Shoulder Pain: 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 4. The shoulder is one of the most mobile joints in the body, and with that mobility comes risk of injury. Learn about what could cause shoulder pain, what to do to recover from the pain and how to prevent injury. Join physical therapist Mike Dix, of GVPT, to help manage this sometimes debilitating condition. Registration is requested.

ACT Practice Test: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 7. For grades 9-12. Take a practice test under simulated conditions. Full-length practice exam proctored by a test expert, followed by instruction in scoring the exam and interpreting the results. Bring pencils, snacks and a calculator. Registration is required.
Cooking with Veggies: 2:30 p.m. Oct. 7. Learn from a Wegmans chef as he prepares veggies and veggie purees. Enjoy samples, recipes and the chance to ask questions of an expert. Registration is recommended.
