Ward Greenberg Heller & Reidy LLP recently announced that Joshua Agins and Jeffrey Casey were elected partners of the Rochester firm.

Agins represents corporate and institutional clients in business and commercial disputes, higher education matters and tort defense. His commercial litigation experience includes actions arising from breach of contract, business torts, construction disputes, franchise disputes and copyright infringement. Agins defended educational institutions against claims of discrimination, and counseled institutions with regard to proceedings before the New York State Division of Human Rights and the NYS Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights. He regularly defends claims for property damage, serious personal injury and wrongful death in his tort defense practice.
Casey represents corporations, educational institutions, public utilities, hospitals and individuals in matters involving tort defense, professional liability and malpractice defense and commercial litigation. His tort defense practice includes defense of catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death and property damage claims. He represented higher educational institutions in matters involving faculty tenure denials, campus premises liability claims and claims brought by students under Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972. His commercial litigation practice includes representing clients in claims for breach of contract and insurance coverage and commercial lease disputes.
Both graduated from University at Buffalo Law School. Agins and Casey were named up and coming attorneys by the Daily Record in 2017, and were included in New York Super Lawyers, Rising Stars in 2014-17.
