The Hinchey Homestead, 634 Hinchey Road, Gates, welcomed 130 visitors over the first three weekends of December 2017 during its Holly Days.
The historical house, built in the 1880s, is the only home in Gates on the National Register of Historic Places.
Visitors viewed 10 trees that were decorated by local groups and organizations, as well as other holiday decorations. Attendees voted on their favorite trees as they traveled through the house. The winner was decorated by the Fifth Grade Service Club from Paul Road Elementary School in Gates Chili Central School District.
Gates Historical Society hosted its holiday party at the house, which was open to the public.
