Rochester Business Charitable Organization recently appointed two current board members to lead the annual Rochester Business Classic golf tournament.
Mark Allen, vice president of investor relations at Royal Oak Realty Trust, will serve as the organization’s board chairman. Jon Fogle, regional president at Five Star Bank, will serve as vice chairman.
“We are honored to have these dynamic and creative colleagues step in to lead this year’s Rochester Business Classic,” said Edward Denning, financial planner at Lincoln Financial Advisors and 2017 RBCO board chairman. “Our board makes up a focused team with fun ideas, and we are confident, with Mark and Jon’s leadership, this year’s event will be fun and successful yet again.”
RBCO’s 13-person board of directors hosts its annual golf tournament in support of two local charities. All proceeds raised this year will benefit Crosby’s Fund and Willow Domestic Violence Center. The upcoming tournament, set for July 16 at Country Club of Rochester, has been around for over 30 years.
RBCO raised more than $67,000 in 2017 for Ronald McDonald House, Crosby’s Fund and Reach for the Green. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
