Small Business Council of Rochester recently elected Ray Isaac, president and CEO of Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning, to a two-year term as president.
Isaac succeeds Paul Kaiser, vice president of New York Business Development Corp. Kaiser will serve as immediate past president after a two-year term.
Isaac and his company have been members of SBC for more than 12 years. Isaac served on the SBC executive committee since joining the board in 2014.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead such an organization in the Rochester business community,” Isaac said. “The SBC has so much to offer. Our professional development programs and networking events are second to none. My goal is to introduce the benefits of our organization to more and more businesses, so that they can leverage the knowledge information and relationships to build their respective businesses.
Isaac won the 2014 SBC Business Person of the Year Award in the more than 50 employees category. The Rochester resident is the third generation of his family to lead Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning, which was founded by his grandfather in 1945.
SBC elected five people to serve on its board of directors for two-year terms: Sarah Compter, of SYNACT Inc.; Tom Hanna, of All American Home Care; Benjamin Jacobs, of Rochester Business Journal; Rosa Ladelfa, of Cornerstone Wealth Management; and Tim Levine, of ESL Federal Credit Union.
“Our new board members embody the spirit of community, bringing talent, expertise and energy to the table,” said Jayni Woods, director of programs, events and marketing. “We are very fortunate to have them represent the Small Business Council.”
