The Faculty Artist Series at Eastman School of Music will continue with two concerts on the weekend of March 2.
Eastman Virtuosi will perform at 8 p.m. on March 2 in Kilbourn Hall, 26 Gibbs St., Rochester. Masumi Per Rostad, viola; Alexander Kobrin, piano; and Alan Harris, cello, will perform a new work for cello and piano by David Temperley.
Bass-baritone Jan Opalach, associate professor of voice, will perform with Lilac String Quartet at 3 p.m. on March 4 in Kilbourn Hall. The program will feature Schubert’s “Schwanengesang” with Haley Schricker and Julia Churchill, violins; Ethan Durrell, viola; Jordan Gunn, violoncello; and Edward Rothmel, piano.
