More than 100 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and direct support professionals celebrated Valentine’s Day.
Participants exchanged valentines, danced and posed for photo booth pictures. Attendees from eight different Arc day programs enjoyed visited with old friends and made new ones. The event took place at the Genesee Valley Henrietta Moose Lodge 2290, 5375 W. Henrietta Road.
For 60 years, The Arc of Monroe County has been working with and for people with intellectual and/or other developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc offers a variety of services designed to increase independence and self-sufficiency and enhance the quality of life and self-esteem of service participants by providing them with meaningful social development, employment, community living and enrichment opportunities.
