Andrea Francis, honorary chairman, was first introduced to Happiness House after her twin sons, Aiden and Keegan, were diagnosed with autism. The boys attend Happiness House New Friends Preschool program in Canandaigua. They are nonverbal, but recently spoke their first words thanks to the early intervention at Happiness House. Francis said her boys are making excellent progress.
Participants are encouraged to collect pledges from family, friends, neighbors and co-workers before the walk. Prizes for participants who collect pledges include gift cards and a chance to win an Echo Show.
