HCR Home Care recently was recognized as a top workplace, according to an independent survey of company employees.
The company was awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by the Democrat and Chronicle. It earned special recognition for its employee-training programs. The training award included the statement, “I get the formal training I want for my career,” which was provided in the employee survey.
The awards are based on employee feedback gathered through a survey administered by Energage LLC, a provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection.
“HCR is delighted to receive this award, which is a testament to our ongoing efforts to foster a positive and collaborative workplace environment,” said Elizabeth Zicari, president of HCR Home Care. “This recognition is especially meaningful because it is based on the feedback of our employees, who stated strongly that HCR is a great place to work.”
Chris Chimenti, senior director of clinical innovation, accepted the training award.
“We take pride in our education programs at HCR,” he said. “It is rewarding that our employees appreciate that our formal training will help them advance their careers.”
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
