Community Design Center Rochester’s 13th annual “Reshaping Rochester” series will end with a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on May 21 at Memorial Art Gallery, 500 University Ave., Rochester.
Katrina Johnston-Zimmerman, co-founder of The Women Led Cities Initiative in Philadelphia, will present “Sparking Change: Women in Design.”
Johnston-Zimmerman is an urban anthropologist whose work focuses on analyzing urban spaces to enhance the lives of people. She works with organizations to bring humanist philosophy into city planning and design. Her work incorporates tactical urbanism, human scale cities, placemaking, the right to the city and spatial ethnographic research.
