The concert ends with “Sinfonia” from “Nebuchadnezzar” by Giuseppe Verdi.

Brockport College-Community Chorus will end Spring Music Week with “Love in Bloom” on May 5. Tickets cost $17 for general admission, $12 for seniors and $9 for students. Call (585) 395-2787 or visit for information.
When programming the concert, music director Elizabeth Banner worked to capture aspects of love from the ridiculous to the sublime. On the ridiculous end of the spectrum is Johannes Brahms’ “Liebeslieder Waltzes”; at the other end is Eric Whitacre’s setting of “Five Hebrew Love Songs.” The concert features works by DiLasso, Lauridson, Mulholland, Meader and Stoope.
Admission for each concert, unless noted, is $5 at the door. Call (585) 395-2496 or visit for information.
