The Western New York Community Safety Symposium will be held at 9 a.m. on May 8 at Kodak Center, 200 W. Ridge Road, Rochester.

This is a free symposium that will be focused on School and College Campus Safety and Security.

Armor Security and Protection Inc. will be hosting this event at their corporate headquarters at the above address.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Deputy Mayor Dr. Cedric Alexander, and Monroe County Sheriff Todd Baxter will be one of the prominent public safety and technology experts on the panel. The discussion will be on the timely and crucial subject of the security challenges facing school districts and college campuses. In addition to reviewing sound every-day practices, new technologies will be explored that can increase student, faculty and staff safety as well as minimizing expense.
