The Webster Thomas High School boys track and field team took on Spencerport on April 24 where they picked up their second straight victory of the season, winning by a score of 91-50.

The Titans were led by senior Captain Matt Rogers, who had his best meet since joining the Titans last season. Rogers led the team in points taking first place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.2 seconds, first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.9 seconds and first in the long jump with a mark of 19 feet 6 inches.

Senior Captain Andrew Wygal also had a strong meet finishing first in the 110 high hurdles, 16.6; first in the 400 intermediate hurdles, 60.0; and second in the pole vault, 10 feet and 9 inches.

Other strong performances on the day came from sophomore Jon Dingwall in the 800-meter, running a time of 2:09; and seniors Connor Manley, 800 meter, 2:10; and Brett Kaemmerlan 400 meter, 53.7. Both runners placed in their event and ran personal best times.

The Titans are now 2-0 on the season and will perform at the Brighton Relay Meet on May 11.
