Image City Photography Gallery, 722 University Ave., Rochester, is exhibiting “The Face of Time” with Betsy Phillips through June 10.
The gallery will host an opening reception from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on May 18. First Friday Gallery Night is set for 5 to 9 p.m. on June 1.
Phillips’ focus of “The Face of Time” is to illuminate how weather, happenstance and natural processes combine over time to transform ordinary objects. The images are enhanced to varying degrees to create a series of abstract ”paintings.”
Jim Rappleye has a selection of photos in the Neuberger Gallery. Guest artists include Laura Knecht, JFK/AJVK, Justyn Sweany Wolf, Dick Thomas and Steve Tryon. Rounding out the show are award-winning photographs from the Camera Rochester competition, as well as gallery partners and artists-in-residence of Image City Photography Gallery
Admission is free. The handicapped-accessible gallery is open from noon to 6 p.m. on Mondays-Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Visit for information.
