Monroe County received more than $5.3 million in the 2018-19 state budget to rehabilitate highways, roads and bridges.
Local municipalities that will receive funds are Chili, $243,067; Churchville, $13,149; Riga, $63,440; and Rochester, $5,029,204.
The budget allocates $603 million to help statewide infrastructure improvement projects: $438 million for the Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement program, $100 million for Pave NY and $65 million for the Extreme Winter Recovery program.
