The Irondequoit United Church of Christ, 644 Titus Ave., will host a “Find Your Treasure” sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 15 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 16.
A bake sale and strawberry desserts will be included.
The sale will include a selection of furniture, bicycles, a gas grill, jewelry, household goods, books, sports items, tools, electronics, children items, games and garden tools. Weather dependent, these items will be displayed inside and outside of the church and priced to sell.
Attendees can take a break from shopping and try homemade strawberry shortcake, made with
local berries, at the dessert cafe. They will have various homemade goodies for sale, all
donated by the congregation and packaged to eat in or out. Attendees can take home
brownies, strawberry tarts, strawberry rhubarb pie or berries and shortcake.
At 10 a.m. June 16, attendees can view the Butterfly Beltway Program garden and hear representatives from the Seneca Park Zoo explain why monarch butterflies are important and how to help them survive.
