St. John’s recently celebrated summer by bringing traditional summer-month activities to residents.
During the week of July 16, St. John’s hosted a beach day and Hawaiian luau for residents to enjoy.
Beach day transformed the St. John’s courtyard into a shore line with real sand filling the yard, bringing the beach to residents with mobile limitations who cannot make a trip themselves. The all-day party included surf, cocktails and a steel drum band.
The Hawaiian luau featured a pool party, pig roast, yard games, ukulele duo, a fire pit and exotic drinks. Both activities were part of St. John’s mission to help residents embrace living at every stage of life.
