Bach to Rock Penfield is actively supporting music education through numerous community events throughout the Greater Rochester area.
One such collaboration is with the local libraries to support their year-long “Libraries Rock” theme. On any given week, residents can find Bach to Rock at one of the local libraries showcasing their Rock City preschool music program, Rock ‘n’ Roll toddler program, hosting an instrument petting zoo or giving their students opportunities to perform as a DJ, band, musician or a vocalist.
“Libraries in our area provide wonderful summer programming and we are honored to collaborate in their programs and share music with the community,” said local Bach to Rock Owner and Director Nick Valente.
“The Mendon Public Library was thrilled to have Bach to Rock involved in two of our Summer Reading Programs. Bach to Rock brought music, education and fun to our community and allowed us to offer two great programs for our patrons,“ said Kelly Paganelli, the Assistant children’s librarian.
In addition to the library programs, kids can continue to rock this summer at Bach to Rock’s studio by enrolling in one of five types of Rock Star or DJ music summer camps running weekly from June through end of August for ages 4 and older.
