The Geva Theatre Center Conservatory Summer Academy for ages 12-18 will end with a free showcase at 1 p.m. on Aug. 11 at 75 Woodbury Blvd., Rochester.
This year’s focus is Shakespeare. The program’s 26 students took classes in various aspects of acting, and participated in weekly master classes with industry professionals.
The showcase features scenes and songs from “Equivocation,” “Othello,” “The Merry Wives of Windsor,” “Love’s Labour’s Lost,” “The Merchant of Venice,” “Romeo and Juliet,” “West Side Story,” “Much Ado About Nothing,” “Rough Magic,” “Henry IV,” “Richard III,” “The Book of Will” and “Once on This Island.”
