Former “RuPaul’s Drag Race” contestants Pandora Boxx, Mrs. Kasha Davis and Darienne Lake will present “3’s Company” at 8 p.m. on Aug. 3-4 at Blackfriars Theatre, 795 E. Main St., Rochester.
The Rochester natives will share stories and songs from their early days to the show Both nights include a cash bar.
Boxx was voted “Miss Congeniality” by fans, and appeared on season two and “All Stars” season one. The actor, comedian, recording artist and writer became a drag professor on the spin-off show, “RuPaul’s Drag U,” and was voted MVP by fans. She appeared in a GLAAD award-winning commercial, an off-Broadway comedy called “Lick This Boxx” and in the app “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Dragopolis.”
Davis is the alter ego of Ed Popil, a season seven contestant. She graduated from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Arts in theater, and was a principal dancer in the Ballet Theatre of Scranton. Davis has a one-woman show, “There’s Always Time for a Cocktail,” and performed in Rochester; New York City; San Francisco; Palm Springs, California; London; and Brighton, England.
Lake was in the top four of “RuPaul’s” season six. She regularly hosts, sings, dances and tells dirty jokes in shows across the globe.
Admission is $25. Tickets are available by phone, online and at Blackfriars Theatre. If available, tickets can be purchased at the door one hour before each performance.
