CPL, a design firm that serves public- and private-sector clients, recently welcomed four hires to its Rochester team: Edmund Cannon as a transportation engineer, Ethan Hagel as a junior electrical engineer, Nathaniel Piscitelli as an architectural designer and Melissa Zender as a junior civil engineer.
Cannon, of Rochester, will focus on transportation planning, bridge design, traffic engineering and streetscape design. With more than three years of professional experience, he most recently served as a fiber design engineer for Fibertech Lightower. Cannon has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Alaska at Anchorage.
Hagel, of Rochester, will work with the electrical engineering team to implement electrical designs into REVIT and AutoCAD, as well as conduct field work to account for existing electrical layouts. Prior to joining CPL, he served as an electrical design engineer and CAD coordinator at M/E Engineering. Hagel has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Binghamton University.
Piscitelli, of Rochester, will assist the architectural team with all aspects of design, including drafting, 3D modeling and client presentations. Prior to joining CPL, he served as an architectural intern at Foit Albert Associates while earning a Bachelor of Architecture from Alfred State.
Zender, of Fairport, will assist the civil engineering team with various project types, including land development, site plan design and stormwater design. Prior to joining CPL as full-time team member, she served as an intern while attending college. Zender earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
