One firefighter suffered minor injuries.

Fire investigators say a juvenile intentionally caused a house fire in Rochester on Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a house on Lexington Avenue just before 4:30 p.m. to find flames and heavy smoke shooting out the home. Investigators say the flames spread to a neighboring home on Tacoma Street.

Both homes suffered extensive fire damage and could not be occupied.

Following an investigation, fire investigators determined a juvenile was responsible for setting the fire. The juvenile will be petitioned to family court with an appearance ticket for the arson.
