There is "no threat to the public at this time" after an incident on Hudson Avenue and Route 104.

According to the Rochester Police Department, at around 2 p.m. on Wednesday officer attempted a traffic stop on Route 104 at Hudson Avenue, only for the male driver to then flee on foot. The incident led to a large police presence in the area as they looked for the man in a patch of woods in the area.

The suspect has not been identified at this time, and the press release from RPD did not indicate that any arrests have been made.
