The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is looking for a woman who may have witnessed a hit-and-run that happened in Perinton earlier this month.

It happened on September 9 near Fellows and Furman roads.

According to deputies, Lee Lejnikes was riding his bike when he was hit by a car.

Messenger Post's news partner, News10NBC spoke with Lejnikes last week. He believes he was intentionally hit, and says the driver was yelling that he was going to kill him.

The car involved is silver, possibly a hybrid.

Deputies want to talk to a woman who was walking her dog in the area at the time of the incident, not because she's involved, but because she may have witnessed something.
