Brighton Police say two MCC students were robbed at gunpoint around 1 a.m. Tuesday.

An armed robbery that sparked a campus-wide alert at Monroe Community College may be connected to three other robberies in Rochester.

Brighton Police say two MCC students were robbed at gunpoint around 1 a.m. Tuesday on the campus off East Henrietta Road. The suspects ran off.

An hour before that, in the City of Rochester, three other people -- all in separate incidents -- were also robbed at gunpoint. The first, on South and Highland avenues in the city. The next, on South Avenue near East Henrietta Road and the third, near South Goodman and Pearl streets.

Nobody was hurt in any of the incidents.

Rochester and Brighton Police say they are working together to find the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
