State Police say Nancy Reibsome, 86, from Sodus was killed when the minivan she was in on South Geneva Road failed to yield the right-of-way to a box truck.

The victim in a fatal town of Sodus crash has been identified by police.

State Police say Nancy Reibsome, 86, from Sodus was killed when the minivan she was in on South Geneva Road failed to yield the right-of-way to a box truck.

It happened at the intersection with Rt.104 just east of Sodus.

Troopers say the box truck hit the side of the van, killing Reibsome.

The driver of the van, Ronald Millon, 73, from Sodus was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the box truck, Scott Thompson, 41, from Liverpool was taken to Newark Wayne Hospital for minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
