The Rochester Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America will meet on Jan. 8 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 25 Westminster Road, Rochester.
Hearing Other People’s Experiences will meet at 10 a.m. Ralph Meranto, senior director of arts and culture at the Louis S. Wolk Jewish Community Center of Greater Rochester, will explore the creation of “The Hit Makers” at noon.
Barbara Isaman-Bushart will discuss “Hearing Loss and Mental Health: Is There a Connection?” at 8 p.m. The talk will address the importance of targeting and treating hearing loss to protect mental well-being and stimulate brain activity.
