QUICK LOOK

- The National Weather Service issued a wind chill warning for Livingston, Ontario, and Wyoming counties from 6 p.m. Sunday through 1 p.m. Monday. The wind chill temps may reach -25 during this time.

- We have issued a Red First Alert Weather Day for our area for Saturday night into Sunday. A Yellow Alert is in effect for the day on Saturday and also for Monday.

- A no unnecessary travel advisory was lifted Sunday evening for Ontario County.

The snow from the storm moves out by midday Sunday and then we transition to lake effect snow. This will bring another 3" to 6" Sunday afternoon into the night. Add this to a couple inches early Saturday and a couple more on Monday, we should see storm totals 12" to 22" in the area.

The higher amounts will fall in parts of the eastern and southern Finger Lakes and also south of Lake Ontario. Combine this snow with bitter cold and gusty winds, plan on lots of blowing and drifting snow and wind chill readings to -25 Monday morning.
