“Four Old Broads,” the next Greece Paint Players dinner theater production, will run on March 30-31 and April 6-7 at the Barnard Restaurant and Party House, 360 Maiden Lane, Rochester.
A buffet will be served at each show. The cast includes LuAnn Bement, Kathy Coughenour, Lois Dannenberg, Barbara Dick, Daniel Hoak, Angie Kananen and Karen Mager.
The comedy by Leslie Kimbell centers around four characters spending their sunset years at Magnolia Place, an assisted living facility in Georgia: former burlesque queen Beatrice, devout Christian Eaddy, meek Imogene and soap opera addict Maude.
Beatrice years to go on a singles cruise and convinces Eaddy to come along. These plans are nearly derailed with Imogene starts exhibiting symptoms of dementia.
Beatrice and Eaddy cover for Imogene whenever the new nurse comes into the picture. Suspecting something sinister in Imogene’s medication, the ladies embark on an adventure with Maude and Sam, an Elvis impersonator, to solve the mystery.
