OFC Creations (Opportunities For Creativity) will present Miss Richfield 1981 for the second year in a row at 8 p.m. on March 29-30 at the Kodak Center Studio Theatre, 200 W. Ridge Road, Rochester.
Miss Richfield 1981 (Russ King) will perform her new show “Gender Fluids.” In this interactive performance, she will attempt to find nonbinary answers to the complex world.
In April 2018, Miss Richfield 1981 presented two sold-out Rochester performances of “Born Again.” King created the character with a history that starts with her lifelong goal of being crowned beauty queen of the Minneapolis suburb of Richfield, Minnesota.
The show will act as OFC’s annual fundraiser for Broadway Cares: Equity Fights AIDS. Raffle tickets for Broadway memorabilia will be available before the show, with winners drawn during the Miss Richfield meet and greet. OFC Creations theater students will be available in the lobby to accept additional cash donations. Visit broadwaycares.org for information.
Tickets are available at ofccreations.com and Wegmans.
