Passero staff are involved in numerous community organizations and are currently serving on several boards of directors for professional organizations, local institutions and nonprofit agencies.
Senior Project Architect Steve Trobe serves as a board member of SUNY Brockport SummerLEAP. SummerLEAP is a six-week summer program that focuses on providing high quality summer enrichment to students in the Rochester City School District. Trobe is also an advisor to the Baden Street Settlement. The Baden Street Settlement works in cooperative, collaborative, and supportive spirit with concerned agencies in the community to meet the needs of neighborhood residents. Trobe has over 30 years of architectural design expertise for various types of projects, including in higher education and for faith-based organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and resides in Rochester.
Project Architect Timothy Geier serves as membership director on the American Institute of Architects Rochester Chapter board of directors. AIA Rochester is celebrating its 100 years of involvement in the community with many upcoming events, including the Architectural Installation Competition at Midtown Commons; the Design Awards Gala and Celebration; and the Architectural Fashion Show, to be held during Fashion Week Rochester. Geier is a seasoned professional and has been involved in various residential, institutional and commercial projects during his five-year tenure with Passero Associates. He holds a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Geier completed his undergraduate studies in Architecture at UNC Charlotte. He resides in Rochester.
