Two young girls are needed to perform the role of Lulu in the June 4-9 production of “Waitress” at RBTL’s Auditorium Theatre, 885 E. Main St., Rochester.
The Tony-nominated musical tells the story of Jenna, an expert pie baker working at a local diner who is stuck in a loveless marriage. Her salvation comes in the form of her daughter, Lulu.
Eligible actresses should be shorter than 4 feet, 2 inches and no older than 5 years, 3 months. Individual applicants are welcome, as are sets of twins or siblings.
The “Search for Lulu” will run from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 to 4:30 p.m. on April 8 at the theater. Auditions will consist of each child repeating two lines from the show.
