A Farmington business was announced as the premier sponsor for the upcoming 2019 Rochester international Airshow. Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced Thursday that American Equipment will be the sponsor. The event is scheduled for Aug. 24-25.

ROCHESTER — A Farmington business was announced as the premier sponsor for the upcoming 2019 Rochester International Airshow.

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced Thursday that American Equipment will be the sponsor. The Farmington-based business sells new and used agriculture and construction equipment.

The airshow is set to take place August 24-25 and will feature a loaded lineup of modern war fighters as well as class of '45 fighters, a P-51 and a Corsair.

"We are absolutely thrilled about The 2019 Rochester International Airshow presented by American Equipment," said managing director Dave Cooper. "This show is going to be one of the best we've ever had with both the Raptor and the U.S. Thunderbirds performing. We're excited for old, young and future aviation enthusiasts to be able to enjoy the rich heritage of flight."

Numerous military and civilian aerobatic acts will take part in the airshow, including:
