The College at Brockport Department of Dance will present “DANCE/Strasser” at 7:30 p.m. on April 4-6 in the Rose L. Strasser Studio in Hartwell Hall on New Campus Drive.
Artistic director and faculty member Mariah Maloney curated a program of innovative work by up-and-coming choreographers within the dance department.
The program brings forward choreography inspired by recent travel to Africa by senior Joyce Edwards and Irish step dance reimagined by senior Sarah Baresh. Junior Jenna Kelly will present a solo with live accompaniment by Greg Woodsbie, and Master of Fine Arts candidate Maureen Gorman will perform a risk-based duet.
The recitals will end with an ensemble work created by senior Alicia McDonald.
