According to police, Patrick Carlineo of Addison in Steuben County called Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's office and threatened her life.
A Steuben County man has been arrested for making a threat against the life of a U.S. Congresswoman.
According to police, Patrick W. Carlineo of Addison called Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's office and threatened her life.
A staff member who answered the call was badgered by Carlineo:
"Do you work for the Muslim Brotherhood? Why are you working for her, she's a (expletive) terrorist. I’ll put a bullet in her (expletive) skull.”
The threat was immediately referred to the United States Capitol Police's Threat Assessment Section, who began an investigation with the FBI.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, or both.
